CÉCILE BRISAC

Cécile Brisac was born in Firminy, France. After studying at the AA in London she worked in France, the United States and Great Britain before setting up Brisac Gonzalez Architects in London in 1999. The practice was established with Edgar Gonzalez after winning the international competition for the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden. Recent and current projects include two luxury apartment buildings and a school complex in central Moscow, Russia; a new sports hall in central Paris, France; a visual arts centre in the historical centre of Aberdeen, Scotland; the newly opened concert and trade fair venue ‘le Prisme’ in Aurillac, France.

Brisac is involved in the profession internationally as well as locally: she is a regular guest juror and lecturer throughout the UK, Scandinavia and France.
She is also a board member of the Architectural Association and the London Borough of Southwark Design Review Panel.
