GERHARDT WITTFELD

Born in Germany, Gerhardt Wittfeld received his architecture education at the Technicakl University of Aachen (1989-1995). From 1992 to 1995, he worked in various architecture offices including Ingenhoven, Overdiek, Petzinka + Partner; AG$; Jaspert + Steffens; and Grossmann, Rosenheim. He taught with Kada in Graz and Aachen and with RWTH in Aachen (1994-2004). In 1999, he formed a partnership with Klaus Kada, establishing the architectural office of Kada + Wittfeld Aachen. Since 2005, the firm became kadawittfeldarchitektur. He is the Visiting Professor at the Facultyof Architecture FH bochum in the Department of Building Design and Function. He is on the advisory board on architecture for the City of Aachen and on the Advisory Board of Design for the City of Gummersbach.
