MARC EGGERT

GERMANY

Marc Eggert studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland ETH Zürich (1993-1999) and received a Erasmus scholarship at the Strathclyde University Glasgow, Scotland (1996-97). He studied at the Institute of Urban Design, Institute of Conservation, University of Rome Tre, Italy (1998) and the Insitute of Rreconstruction and Conservation. He graduated from the Department of Architecture, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (1999).

He worked in the architecture office Kauffmann, Theilig + Partner in Stuttgart, Germany (1996) and Massimiliano Fuksas, Mfuksas ARCH in Rome, Italy (1998). Since 2000, he has in the architecture office of AEP Architektengruppe Eggert + Partner, Stuttgart; and since 2002, the Managing Design Director and Partner of the firm AEP Architektengruppe Eggert + Partner, Stuttgart.

He has won several awards in European-wide architectural competitions including: Architectural General Planning of University Hospitals in Marburg, Design planning for the University Hospitals in Munich, Freiburg and Erlangen; medical planning, consulting and masterplanning for health care facilities in Ellwangen, Osnabrück, Pforzheim and Rudolstadt, Germany; and architectural general planning of University Library in Marburg
