ROBERT KONIECZNY

POLAND

Robert Konieczny was born in Poland and received his architecture degree from SUT, Gliwice, Poland in 1998.
He established the firm of KWK Promes with his partner Marlena Wolnik in 1999 and that partnership continued through 2005.

He has won numerous prizes in national and internaitional competitions including: Honorable Mention in New Bauhaus (1994); Third Prize in a competition for Governors Island, New York (1996); Best Building in Katowice (2003); First Prize for Best New Building, SARP Competition (2003). His work has been featured in Wallpaper and in the exhibition of 44 Young International Architects at an exhibition in Barcelona and Santa Monica, California.
