TOMASZ KONIOR

POLAND

Tomasz M. Konior studied architecture at the Faculty of Cracow Institute of Technology (1989-1994) and at the Bauhaus-Universitaet, Weimar, Germany. He practiced architecture at FH Trier. In 1996, he founded Konior Studio and became a co-owner of Barysz Konior Architekti SP (2002-2005). He served as the President of Silesian SARP 2004-2009. His projects include Residence in Goczalkowie-Zdroj; BPH SA Bank Divion in Rybnik; Tychy Brewery Museum in Tychy; Redemptor Hominus Church Complex in Cracow; and the Katowice Academy of Music. He worked on the plan for Katowice downtown redevelopment.

His works have been exhibited in Cannes, Dusseldorf, and Luxembourg.
