The site is integrated into the urban network of multi Paris , Great Crown of major green spaces and infrastructure networks . ZAC Clichy -Batignolles is seen as a new landscape connecting a large urban open door along major territorial arcs to the historic city. The site is becoming an important platform urban form, a node inserted into the system of the great Parisian relational spaces exchange. He held the role of switching between scales whatsoever territorial point of view, urban , environmental, social , cultural, and infrastructure. The BIA therefore acts as a resonance device and multi- district transfer. ZAC Clichy- Batignolles and Martin Luther King Park are based in a large relational space , an interface connecting lines and urban relations : power lines , flow lines , connecting lines and interaction . Echoing the interconnected buildings, the project is part of a coherent and consistent elegance.
One of the basic characteristics of the project is the creation of an almost complete breakthrough in the island perpendicular to Martin Luther King Park . The breakthrough comes as a real extension of the park, extending the heart of the island and bringing it to the street and beyond to Lot E9 . So there is nothing to obstruct the view from the park on the latter and vice versa. School and group housing will therefore have also relatively unobstructed park perspectives. In addition , greater transparency was investigated at the base of the project , completing the idea of a maximum link from the park to the street.
The two buildings comprising the units are broken down into volumes of varying heights. The blocks thus created are then stacked offset from each other relative . The goal is to create dynamic movements than static volumetrics , rhythms than stationary objects . These movements and rhythms associated with the already rich architecture of the immediate context used to invent a new " music of the city." These shifts also create more outdoor space and optimize planning rules , including prospects.
