Co-founder of the collective EXYZT, Philippe participated in the design and construction of numerous inhabited installations like the French pavilion of the Xth Venice Biennale in 2006. Between 2007 and 2009, Philippe lives and works in the United States and Brazil and collaborated with famed and inspiring architects Shigeru Ban and Yona Friedman.
In 2010, he founded PRA | Philippe Rizzotti Architecte and won the Parcosolar Sud international competition with the Vertical Village project that received the Europe Bronze meda at the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction. In 2012, Philippe Rizzotti is the winner of the Albums of des Jeunes Architectes (AJAP), a prize awarded by the French Ministry of Culture.
Since 2012, he is associate professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nancy and focuses on sustainable construction and prefabrication. He regularly works on the themes of mobile architecture, sustainable construction or the renewal of neglected spaces.
