Carlos Garmendia, Garmendia Cordero Arquitectos, Spain 

Architect from ETSAB (Barcelona, 2009), he founded Garmendia Cordero arquitectos in 2015 together with Álvaro Cordero trying to keep a way of working based on sincerity, coherence and respect for the context.

We always aim to generate clearly readable projects where the main intentions of the idea are reflected, giving enormous importance to the function, either through resounding volumes, textures or through an exhaustive analysis of each conditioning factor globally, in order to respond to these programmatic needs.

Our intention is to work at all scales, whatever the size or entity of the project, we learned to understand architecture that way and that is how we try to reflect it in each work, taking care of everything from the smallest detail to the larger implantation.

In these years we have been lucky enough to receive distinctions in national and international calls such as the EU Mies Awards, the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, the COAVN Awards or the FAD Awards, among others.
