Pauline Bourgade, FAB Architectes, France 

Pauline Bourgade graduated in 2008 as an architect at the ENSA Clermont Ferrand.

For several years she worked as project manager at different firms such as RCR Arquitectes (ES), RDAA (FR) and Samuel Delmas A+ (FR). In 2016, together with Salvador Figueras, she founds Fab Architectes, firm based in Barcelona (ES) and Lyon (FR).
Fab's work is linked to the story of the site, matter, and culture, which constitute the starting point of each project, whatever the scale or program that is questioned.

The path undertaken is never the most direct, but the one that allows one to see from another angle, to go further to provoke what does not yet exist but that once there appears as evident.

Fab Architectes claims a sensitive, rational, and controlled approach in the way of conceiving, projecting, and building. Contrary to a show of force, the architecture proposed by FAB Architectes is intended to be measured and rigorous, coherent at all scales.
The making of a project is extraordinarily rich and complex, and only makes sense when it is shared. With pleasure and enthusiasm, the firm works in collaboration with other architects, urban planners, landscapers, in multidisciplinary teams, throughout Europe.
