Benoist Desfonds, France 

Benoist is a French architect who graduated in architecture from the National School of Architecture of Versailles, following a Bachelor’s degree from the National School of Architecture of Montpellier. His architectural journey has led him through Paris, Barcelona, and Tokyo, where he refined his expertise within international firms like Dominique Perrault Architecte, Mateo Arquitectura and Sou Fujimoto Architects.

In 2019, Benoist co-founded LOCAL alongside his partners M. Boustany, G. Guyot, E. Mosquera, and J. Picard. Based in Paris, Brussels, and Bergen, LOCAL embodies a vision to redefine our spatial fabric with innovation and sophistication.

Spanning architecture and urbanism, our practice operates globally, leveraging collective wisdom and rigorous research to shape bespoke solutions. Their mission? To craft environments that inspire and enrich the lives of inhabitants, pushing boundaries and setting new standards for quality and design excellence.
