juta 2015

Juta is the first gesture of a research titled "micro 3d", designed by Lorenzo Palmeri for Stone Italiana. This is a survey about the volumetric potential of a quartz plate, flat for definition and here it has been enriched with three-dimensional texture. Juta, in particular, was born following the intuition that it would have been possible, interesting and perhaps even surprising, to put in scene a transposition from the fabric texture to the stone. Result is obtained using a specific technology, exclusively owned by the company. The projects of "micro 3d" series are suitable for tiling walls, floor and as surfaces for bathroom and kitchen where the thin three-dimensional of Juta, gives a special and tactile experience.
