The Maestro smart thermostat combines design and technology to orchestrate a whole new level of comfort for home electric heating. The experience starts with a sleek visual design that integrates seamlessly into any décor. The soft contour, character lines and mixed finishes provide an intricate yet simple visual balance. The beveled sides reduce the perceived volume and give the impression that the unit is floating in front of the wall. The full color touch screen completes the package for a modern user experience. 

The refined design approach merges with the mobile application where the user interface was developed to be inviting and intuitive. It allows the users to fully exploit the capabilities of the Maestro thermostat such as geo-fencing, room groupings and management by activities, to harmonize perfectly with their lifestyle, no matter where they are in the world. 

Behavioral design was also integrated in the Maestro thermostat and mobile application. A color code makes the user aware of the impacts of his heating choices. The scale starts at green indicating an ecofriendly choice, all the way to red indicating that comfort takes priority over energy savings. This behavioral design is further reinforced by energy consumption reports that show the detailed result of the choices made.
