BLAQ chair 2016-2017

With “BLAQ chair”, the internationally renowned product designer Martin Ballendat created his re-interpretation of conference seating. The mesh covering of “BLAQ chair” is rather atypical within the context of linking or stacking chairs. It offers a high degree of stability aside from all the benefits of a breathable material. Additionally, the mesh chair perfectly adjusts itself to body contours. 

A tubular steel frame with a distinctive alignment serves as the basis of “BLAQ chair”, either polyamide-coated or chrome-plated. A shock-resistant stacking rail made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic is attached to the tubular steel frame and constitutes the individual characteristic of the frame’s contour. At the same time it eliminates the use of a functional stacking device and ensures a quiet, material-friendly and stable way of stacking. The modular structure is another convincing feature: chair and armchair may be discretely joined with the help of elegantly shaped connecting devices. 

“BLAQ chair” can be used as linking chairs or individual chairs and enhances any venue location with easiest handling, quality of design and product value.
