"I love repetition – it is musical, harmonic, ordered, like a motion of exercise. To repeat is create beauty for our eyes, a field of relaxing stimuli. Over the years in many of my projects from soft landscapes to perfume bottles, I have embraced a certain simple sensual form that can repeat to express on going energy, a continuum of expressive forms. Objects give us different energies. I wanted to design an arm chair that has this omnipresent repeat or vibration. Phaze is an organic soft inviting lounge chair that swivels independently or joins side-by-side and connecting together to create a wave, an undulation of private seating that envelops and seduces the eye and body. I drew this chair on the plane thinking about making a form that embraces my philosophy of sensual minimalism and repetition” /Globalove, Karim
