The Humly Booking Device is a flexible booking device designed to be adaptable to meet the changing requirements of the hybrid workplace and with great versatility in mind - for small meeting rooms, desks and other bookable resources - but can also be used to display other things - like personal status in individual offices (like “do not disturb” or “available”), indicate restrictions on patient rooms in hospitals. It is small enough to fit most spaces, but big enough to provide important information and provide a rich user interface.

The display can show whether a space or desk is available or not. By tapping on the touch screen anyone can book what they need on the spot. It integrates via the same backend as all other products in the Humly Workplace Solutions suite. It can be mounted or placed in several ways, for an infinite amount of situation needs.

The product has a slim form factor enhanced by the chamfered back in combination with soft light indication that create a floating and non-intrusive appearance in the environment. The front is treated as a single calm interaction surface where just the information is smoothly lit up.

The Humly project has prioritized the total life cycle impact on the environment by reusing (components and parts) when possible and optimizing the use of recyclable material. The mindset was also used when it comes to the packaging for the product where a minimal of paper pulp material is used and where the buyer is encouraged to buy the product in multipack to reduce the material and facilitate for the installer with less packages to take care of and recycle even more.
