Gangdong-gu is a beautiful city where historical cultural properties of the Neolithic period, natural environment, and city coexist.

The recent urban problem faced by Gangdong-gu is the growing popularity of e-scooter sharing. From 2018 to now, the number of shared personal mobility in Gangdong-gu has increased rapidly. The problem of reckless parking in Personal Mobility has emerged as new social problems which are threatening the walking environment. There are various problems such as e-scooters fallen over due to reckless parking, a decrease in pedestrian safety due to blocking pedestrian walkways and lack of proper e-scooter rack.

We investigated and analyzed personal or shared transport devices, derived the minimum width required for each device, and applied it to the design development. So, we derived the standard and shape of the rack so that as many personal means of transportation can be mounted as possible.

Align, Gangdong all in one bike rack, allows to park various personal mobility devices in a single type rack.
