Project Background - Designed for Critical Care Monitoring

During COVID-19, the critical care demand is immense in hospitals, especially for patient monitoring. By meeting these challenges today, the brand has launched the advanced monitoring solution K pro series and aims to provide better care for the patient.

Project Challenge

Accurate monitoring of patient physiological parameters is crucial for subsequent treatment and recovery. The medical care needs are also dynamic, changing according to the recovery process. Current monitoring devices have scattered intelligent support applications, and insufficiently comprehensive monitoring parameters, and traditional trolleys are bulky and difficult to transport, hindering patient transfer. Most existing monitor human-machine interaction interfaces are rudimentary, the interaction concepts are not intuitive, the setup operations are cumbersome and inefficient, the information display is cluttered, and the sluggish delay after monitor setup increases the user's learning and usage costs.

Design Solution - Appearance structure

Full touch screen structure: The number of physical buttons, knobs, and component lines on the system has been reduced, as they typically serve as breeding grounds for harmful bacteria. The system supports multi-touch operations and is glove-friendly, allowing interface switching through left and right double-finger swipes.

Automatic Brightness: The K-Series Patient Monitor comes equipped with ambient light sensors, supporting automatic screen brightness adjustments in response to changes in external environmental lighting conditions.

·Font Selection: They utilize the clean COMEN font, designed with a focus on readability and legibility. The appropriate font weight and size enhance overall effectiveness and readability.

·Interface Aesthetics: The product interface is built upon simplicity and combines the material characteristics of frosted glass to create a sense of space, hierarchy, and aesthetic effects of mystery and technology.
