The Noah lighting collection is personal to designer Filippo Mambretti – it’s a tribute to the birth of his son named Noah. Created for Gantri, the lights resemble one of the most obvious signs of motherhood: a round, pregnant belly. Mambretti designed the diffuser and shade to represent the beauty of two souls residing in one body as new life is created.

The larger idea behind Noah’s designs is that both life and light bring us hope for what’s to come, all in a minimal package. The light from the table, wall, and floor lamps feels warm, comforting, and protective. The Noah Table Light’s bulbous shape brings a necessary softness to sharper pieces in a room. Meanwhile, the Noah Wall Light adds a spot of warmth to the bedside and can also act as ceiling lighting.

Lastly, the Noah Floor Light’s slim silhouette adds an unexpected focal point to any room.

The full, round form effortlessly recalls the shape of a pregnant belly – a symbol of motherhood. The diffuser and shade represent two souls residing in a single body, evoking the concept of new life. Filippo’s design was built on the idea that both life and light bring us hope for the future. This new collection is meant to envelop the user in light that feels comforting, warm and protective – the ideal companion for organic, minimal spaces.

The design of the Table Light version of Noah gives a pleasant softness to the corners of the houses and also to the furnishings such as, for example, sideboards and desks. The design of the Wall Light version of Noah furnishes the walls of a sleeping area above a bedside table with harmony and warmth, thanks to its enveloping and contemporary curves. The design of the Floor Light version of Noah creates a modern yet romantic focal point in any living room.
