INSIGHT Pro provides the possibility to create accurate, high-resolution 3D models of the patient socket for replication and/or evaluating the pressure distributions inside the patient socket with automatic sensor identification, integrate with a CAD/CAM workflow, increasing the flexibility for the clinic to provide house calls.

Its components are:
INSIGHT Digitizer, a state-of-the-art scanner for lower limb prosthetic sockets and plaster casts that provides clinicians with a precise 3D model of the patient socket that can work in two different modes – an accurate resolution (under 2mm) for analysis of pressure distribution and a high precision resolution (under 1mm) for socket replication.

INSIGHT Digitizer WebApp, the unique online system allowing the INSIGHT Digitizer to store all the 3D files produced and thereby making it a simple solution to organize the socket history of any patient, equipping the clinician to have better version control on all socket adjustments, and to quickly modify any adjustments where needed.

INSIGHT Wearable, a device that provides a real-time evaluation of biodata for clinicians to ensure optimal prosthetic fit and monitor a patient’s rehabilitation, composed of a main unit and a smaller unit, the INSIGHT® Wearable IMU (WIMU), to collect inertial data and identify the patient’s gait phases.

INSIGHT Sensors: low-profile, biocompatible sensitized strips to apply in the inner surface of the socket to gather biodata when the socket is worn by the patient; placed in pre-defined locations within the socket, will give the technician an expanded view of the pressure distribution within the socket. These sensors can be used up to 8 times.

INSIGHT App: a user-friendly software that allows prosthetists to build a digital socket by measurements, and then captures real-time socket pressure data with their patients.

INSIGHT Pro is designed for larger clinics groups, to be used by prosthetic clinicians and technicians in order to perform the prosthetic socket fitting process faster, in fewer visits, and with better results, improving the overall efficiency of the clinic, as well as to quickly replicate patient sockets. The digitization process presents clinicians with a high-resolution scan of the sockets’ or plaster casts’ inner surfaces that can be exported to any CAD/CAM software for editing.  Central Fabrication facilities also benefit from this technology, since will have the advantage of providing high-resolution 3d models of sockets with the precision just under 1mm, and research facilities like universities, because this kind of device turns into a reliable source of information to help O&P researchers get further in their investigations regarding the impact of prosthetic socket fit on the overall health of an amputee. In addition, the utilization of insight Pro can help O&P instructors to more accurately understand how their O&P students are progressing in their skills to create comfortably fitting prosthetic sockets.

INSIGHT Pro is designed to be used by prosthetic clinicians and technicians in order to perform the prosthetic socket fitting process faster, in fewer visits, and with better results, improving the overall efficiency of the clinic, making it the ideal technology for O&P patient care clinics that provide prosthetic patient care.

INSIGHT is the first of its kind to use mapping technology to precisely locate all the problematic points where corrections are needed within a prosthetic socket, and eventually, suggest the required modifications to maximise the adaptation. We do not have any direct competition which enables us to easily stand out within the O&P industry.

With our technology, patients who have issues describing what they are feeling due to nerve damage, or displaced nerves (pressure felt is actually in a different location than what they can feel), are able to receive a better service from their prosthetist - this is because the prosthetist has more information to work from. Patients also feel more involved with their treatment which relieves stress and anxiety.
