Zoko is a business tool that facilitates customer purchases through direct chat on WhatsApp. In an effort to enhance the customer experience, the dashboard underwent a significant redesign.
The Zoko platform initially faced major usability issues and lacked design standards. To address these challenges, the designers embarked on a complete reimagining of the platform, starting from scratch and focusing on real user stories to better cater to user needs.
The product was entirely restructured to feature a simple and clean user interface (UI).
Additionally, a versatile component library was introduced to enable scalability and accommodate future platform needs.
Key Design Solutions included:
Creation of a platform catering to the needs of both agents and managers.
Introduction of a Queue page to enhance organization and alleviate message congestion.
Implementation of automation for increased productivity, including automatic and follow-up messages.
Redesign of the platform with a simple, intuitive UI, accompanied by a design standards document to ensure visual coherence across the platform and future pages.
The design principles prioritized a thoughtful and user-centric experience, primarily targeting business agents managing multiple shoppers in a fast-paced environment. The examination focused on understanding how agents utilize Zoko, identifying their challenges, and making improvements without disrupting their productivity.
