Ora is a fully-featured monitor arm developed to provide enhanced ergonomics in modern commercial workspaces, designed for curved and flat displays up to 35”.
Monitor arms have become a core fixture in workplaces that prioritize the well-being of their staff. Often paired with sit-to-stand desks, they allow users to quickly adjust the position of displays to minimize fatigue and maximize comfort throughout the day.
Many workplaces are now deploying curved and ultrawide displays for their productivity benefits. Ora outperforms most competing products by robustly supporting these wide and deep displays while providing value and utility tailored to the commercial workspace market.
Behind Ora’s sleek, minimal aesthetic is a new counterbalance spring mechanism devised to provide effortless user adjustment, minimize part count and maximize product longevity. This mechanism is encased in a unique diecast unibody chassis engineered to provide torsional rigidity with minimal material use, withstanding the significant twisting forces applied by curved monitors. The clever use of ‘shut-off’ features in the tooling for this part makes the design possible.
Recognizing the difficulty of lifting and maneuvering large, curved displays, the designers devised a novel “quick-connect” display attachment mechanism that enables displays to be swiftly secured to the arm and leaves both hands free to remove displays safely and securely for servicing.
A balanced tilt mechanism allows users to effortlessly select their preferred viewing angle without requiring further tension adjustment following installation.
Ora’s design considers all stakeholders, not just end users. Ora addresses industry demand for a product that is more robust, easily installed and maintained long-term. Ora’s simple assembly allows set up in under 1 minute per desk in commercial fit-outs. The counterbalance spring mechanism has a visual indicator for quick, repeatable bulk installations.
All adjustment points are accessible even after display installation and can be adjusted using a single 4mm hex key when user needs change - minimizing replacements and downtime. An intuitive rotation stop switch at the base of the arm allows rotation to be reconfigured at any time without disassembling the arm to prevent interference with walls and workstation dividers.
The refined aesthetic and cable concealment features provide a neat, modern appearance to any desk in the workplace.
Engineered to withstand commercial use, Ora has undergone rigorous in-house testing. Testing machinery has cycled Ora more than 30,000times, resulting in consistent performance, validating the ten-year guaranteed product warranty.
