The name 'nesuto' translates to 'nest' in Japanese. The round shapes of this porcelain lined with their soft and Japanese-looking glazes are intended to be reminiscent of a nest that gives warmth and security.
The two decoration names of the collection support the associations with Japan: while the greenish glaze bears the decoration name 'bonsai', a Japanese garden art. The bluish glaze was given the name of the mountain 'fuji', the highest mountain in Japan. An almost stone-like glaze, but velvety-soft to the touch decorates the tableware and tea series.
