The set has been inspired by the art of folding paper, origami. In origami, usually various figures are created by simply folding pieces of square paper without cutting them, so the pieces in the set are in square shape.

The form gains dimension in the porcelain series with folding corners, as in the art of origami. The set has been made of a thin porcelain to resemble paper as a material. Special serving plates for jam, cheese and bread have been designed, particularly in the series customized for breakfast. Its design is based on origami, so there are square-bottomed and plates with angular corners. Pointed angular plates are easy-to-grip and enables easy meal service.
