Smooth shapes modeled like sand dunes in deserts illustrates all the pieces in the wilderness porcelain series. Forms on the plates express calmness, sensuality and harmony. when looked from above, it is seen that the design on the set has been inspired by the wave effect caused by lines on the surface of a smooth desert mound, where the forms on the plates follow one another.
The set has a large plate surface for service, allowing for aesthetic dining services, appearing more professional. Wilderness, providing extra whiteness and brightness on its surface with the use of pearl powder instead of cattle bone in its porcelain, creates the impression of a white desert in one’s consciousness.
It has been designed to create a difference in form by combining wide serving plates with impressive plate sides in a porcelain dinner set. By giving organic waveforms on the porcelain, it is aimed to create aesthetic fluid resembling surfaces like a desert hill.
Organic shapes are observed throughout the design. Only one corner of all plates extends upwards in an organic shape and thin wavy forms have been placed on these sections to ensure that they do not slip out of the hand while holding them. Therefore, the most solid grip with one hand has been provided.
It differs aesthetically with the geometric lines determining its form as well as with the different alloy used in the steel material. By using pearl powder instead of bovine bone in the raw material of the porcelain, both a brighter surface is obtained, and a sustainable approach has been aimed by limiting the consumption of animal products.
