A precision-engineered, 16.3-lb Titanium and Carbon folding bike—a whopping 10 lbs. lighter than the original, steel equivalent but just as strong.

Designed to withstand the punishing impact of any city, this tiny titan can transport any rider up to 242 lbs. and has an integrated bag system capable of carrying 22 lbs. of additional items. This combination of ultralight material choices, unparalleled folded size, incredible strength, and superb ride quality removes all barriers to urban cycling. The Brompton T Line Folding Bike received the distinguished Design & Innovation Award (DI.A), Britain’s most prestigious award in the bike and outdoor industry, impressing a 30-member international jury of experts and succeeding in its gauntlet of extensive product tests under real-world conditions. Brompton’s use of the most modern manufacturing technologies and materials was cited in the unanimous jury verdict as that which “one would rather expect in aircraft construction than on a folding bike."

Commenting on the breakthrough launch, Will Carleysmith, Chief Design and Engineering Officer at Brompton said: “The only thing that has been carried over from our classic model is the brake system. Everything else has been finessed, pared back, upgraded. We have gone over this entire product in the minutest detail, looking for every single gram we can find to save weight.
