Vitra creates a tile system based upon cement as one of the fundamental elements of modern urban architecture. Inspired by warm minimalism trend CementMix softens the traditional brutalist look of cement with variety of earthy warm hues.

Through its systematic approach, it offers harmonised colour tones and calm texture options for users. In addition to its calm relief appearance, it re-interprets Terazzo appearance from the past to the present by using modern geometric speckles, natural stone and marble chips patterns.

CementMix enriches cement with three diverse layers from minimal appearance to modern dense patterns. CementMix brings a brand new dimension to industrial design on both floors and walls, on these three layers named as Fine, Micro and Flake. Plaster and wall paper texture is reflected to CementMix Fine which interprets cement in the most minimal and discreet form. In CementMix, Micro, calm cement appearance is revitalised by micro dots and natural effect is created. In CementMix Flake, which re-interprets conventional Terrazo patterns with the modern industrial design components; there are three different flake interpretations enriched with the modern geometric speckle, natural stone and marble chips patterns.
