Our dining spaces are the heart and soul of our homes. From the evening meal or elaborate dinner party, to the homework and work-from-home space, to the cup of tea and chat place. It’s where we congregate and share stories - it’s where much of modern home life happens.

Hundreds of hours of observation to deeply understand why and how we sit led to the realisation that our bodies demand greater performance than most ‘static’ dining chairs offer. These insights formed the opportunity and inspired our design response.

noho move evolved from thousands of hours building and experimenting with working prototypes to explore the motions of the body and understand how to provide comfort and support during the wide range of postures we undertake during daily activity.

This led us down a path that pushed the amalgamation of design and engineering, material research and manufacturing processes to create a new performance for the everyday chair.
