Proboxx enclosure: functional and elegant

Flexible, functional and also elegant - these are the characteristics of Georg Schlegel GmbH & Co. KG´s new enclosure series proboxx. The premise for the development of proboxx was for functionality and design to take a harmonic interaction. The enclosures for control and operation devices of machine and industrial plants should not only offer an added value to the customer with their flexibility, but also impart a high-quality impression with their elegant design.

The proboxx is convincing by its various application fields. Its conception allows an easy integration into existing structures and takes current technical standards into consideration. It is designed for up to four pushbuttons and switches and can be purchased as an empty enclosure as well as a fully equipped enclosure. The empty enclosure comes with a defined breaking point for M16 cable gland or without any connection opening. The equipped enclosure comes with M12 connections for own wiring or direct integration into IO link or AS-Interface fieldbus systems. For wireless usage the equipped enclosure can be purchased as a wireless system for Europe and China.

With the newly invented mounting mechanism the robust plastic enclosure can be mounted on both full-surface substructures and profile rails. The special feature: The enclosure does not have to be opened and can be exchanged quickly in case of service or failure. An asymmetrical placement of the proboxx is always possible thanks to the innovative mounting mechanism. The application on guard lockings of locked machine systems is also possible without any problems thanks to this possibility.

Particular attention was devoted to the design of the proboxx. Thus, the screw fitting of the enclosure has been put on the bottom intentionally so as to not disturb its appearance with exposed screw heads. This aesthetic detail corresponds with the added value of safety: The enclosure can not be opened without dismounting it. The bicolored optics also add to the high-quality appearance which can even be modified individually for this enclosure series.
