The device design of the iCombi Pro.

Form and function perfectly combined.

The iCombi Pro not only impresses with its productivity, flexibility and effectiveness, but also with its external appearance, which had only one goal in mind: It must provide a benefit to the customer.

Even at first glance, the iCombi Pro has an aesthetic overall appearance that can even be seen in front cooking areas. For customers, this means a wide range of possible applications, from the canteen kitchen to the bar area of a hotel.

Glass and stainless steel are the defining design elements of the iCombi Pro. The large, glass door allows a quick view into the cooking cabinet, supported by LED lighting that illuminates each level individually and provides a true-to-life visual reproduction of the food being cooked. The door is easy to open and close with the ergonomically shaped handle with a stainless steel inlay. The stainless steel inlay is also found on the RATIONAL rotary knob under the control panel and is thus the design element that links the door to numerous previous generations of appliances.

The large, flush control panel made of glass can be operated like a smartphone by swiping through options and a drag & drop function and can therefore be understood quickly and intuitively by customers. The large display offers enough space for the large, modern font and illustrations, so that all messages on the display are easily readable even from a distance.

The iCombi Pro is operated via easy-to-understand, clearly designed icons, which make the cooking system easy to use even for unskilled workers. Likewise, the design of the control unit was developed to offer different methods to achieve desired results and thus adheres to different customers’ needs: cooking processes can be selected via the method (grilling, baking etc.) as well as via cooking devices (pan, pot, grill etc.).

Seamless design, no sharp edges and high-quality materials allow easy, safe cleaning, which allows the device to be hygienically flawless.
All in all, the iCombi Pro shows that a cooking system can be both sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing.
