CHALLENGE FACED
The main challenge was hitting an affordable overall cost, while improving aesthetics, ergonomics, and writing performance.

UNIQUE DESIGN
This is a completely new design from the old Write Bros. pen. Aesthetically, we wanted it to not feel like a bottom-end economy pen. Our new clip design, with gloss edge surfacing and dedicated grip area fits with current-day Paper Mate®.

USER EXPERIENCE
The user experience has been elevated on this new pen, specifically around the grip. The diameter has increased and there’s not a clear texture change to delineate the grip area. The low-viscosity ink chemistry also enables a smoother overall writing performance.
