Bosch Power Tools set out to design a user-friendly, quick-change angle grinder system. The X-Lock mounting system offers a wheel/blade change that’s up to 5X faster than conventional grinder tool interfaces. There’s an audible snap when mounting an X-Lock wheel/blade on an X-Lock grinder. The wheel/blade mounts without the need for a spanner wrench. Just snap it on to mount and use the single lever release to remove.

This world’s first, quick-change angle grinder system provides the customer the following features:

• Quick-Change: minimizes downtime between wheel/blade changes with zero losable parts
• Backwards Compatible: Most Bosch X-Lock wheels/blades are backward compatible with standard 7/8” mounts
• Tool-Free System: Single lever wheel/blade ejection without the need of a spanner wrench
