Designers: Masayuki Okabe, L&C design Inc., Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Manufacturers: Minobu-cho, Minamikoma-gun, Yamanashi, Japan

Akebono soybeans, known as “Seeds of Virtue” are quite sweet, large in size, and harvested exclusively in Minobe town from long ago. To express its assured quality and long-standing history, the package design features a motif of the initial letter of store-logo “A” in Mt. Fuji shape which is deeply linked with Minobe town. Beans are uniquely designed to show the image of each different taste. In hopes to appeal the Akebono soybeans to grow stronger to help promote the regional vitalization, the package has been designed to shift the images of beans from simple and low-key to something new that has a wider range of product appeal.
