iPhone case + reading glasses = read on 

Our smartphones are with us whenever, wherever, our reading glasses not so much. Relocated, forgotten. Up to now. And never again: read on is smart integrated into cases for the latest iPhones. This way, the glasses are practically always at hand when there is something to read on the screen. Or if the meal on a menu needs to be selected. And what does the composition of this high end fabric say? And what about the ingredients in this surely healthy nourishment? Read on - always, everywhere. 

read on, the smart way 

Industrial designer Sandra Kaufmann and artist Monika Fink have been experimenting with glasses in their Zurich studio SOL SOL ITO as an ideal folding object for many years. In the beginning, the goal was to develop sunglasses that were as light as possible and that could be folded to save space. With the idea of the combined unit of iPhone case and reading glasses, the requirements increased, especially with regard to dimensions and style. 

Innovative, functional, good looking 

It won’t get thinner than this! The polished correction glass is 3.7 mm thick, read on 4 mm. The minimal overhang of the frame ensures that the glasses do not scratch when pushed out of the protective cover or when lying on a flat surface. The unique design of the brackets allows them to be folded in one plane with the frame: the 4 mm remain 4 mm - the case remains handy! The long arms are characteristic of read on: the reading glasses can be pushed right up to the tip of the nose for a clear view.
