Good design needs to deliver a feeling of inclusivity and the new Onewheel Pint does just that.

It's a rare example of a technology that enhances the human experience and connects you with the world.

Now more than ever, electric-driven micro-mobility is the way into the future. Most of these products have one goal—to simply get you from point A to point B. While Onewheel has developed a product with the same transportation utility, it has gone a step further in its design ethos and incorporated the fun of an action sport that anyone can do, any time, anywhere—no driving to the slopes, waves, or trails required.

“The vision of Onewheel has always been an inclusive one,” says Kyle Doerksen–Onewheel inventor, Founder and CEO of Future Motion Inc. “And that’s why we developed Pint—a more accessible Onewheel that delivers the same euphoric ride.”

In 2013, Doerksen set out to destroy boredom with the invention of the Onewheel. To this day, Kyle and his team at Onewheel continue to develop new products with the same goal. The Onewheel design draws from three different sport inspirations: boardsports, motorsports, and aerospace. These design elements are all evident in its functionalist aesthetic that combines machined billet aluminum with hardwood footpads and an air-filled racing kart tire. As Onewheel has gained traction in the global consciousness, the design team has worked tirelessly to tie its newest products to the Onewheel lineage, while also finding new aesthetic territory that speaks to a broader audience. The refined design language of Pint is true to those roots—it adds a softer curvature, uses high-performance materials, and offers new, practical, refined features that make it a perfect companion for coffee shop runs, microadventures, commute-hacking, and casual rides alike.

-Simplestop makes it easier for riders, especially novices, to dismount the board.

-Maghandle is an integrated, fold-out carrying handle on the side of the Pint that makes

it easy to pick up and carry—whether it’s onto the subway or into your house.

-Lightbar is an LED light display on the board that gives visual indication of battery status and other notifications.

“We can confidently say that nobody in micro-mobility is designing products with the same attention to detail that we are,” says CEO Doerksen.

Designed in California, assembled in California: At the new Future Motion Inc. factory, the largest of its kind in the USA, Onewheel is quite literally building the future. Despite industry norms of outsourcing production to foreign countries, the team has chosen to keep Onewheel manufacturing in the US to ensure the highest quality workmanship worthy of the Onewheel name. Additionally, having manufacturing so close to headquarters in Santa Cruz also enables the design and engineering teams to iterate and innovate quickly.
