For precision sanding, buffing, and cutting, HART’s 20V Rotary Tool was designed with the DIY user in mind. It delivers 5,000 to 34,000 RPM with the variable speed dial for ultimate control. It includes 33 accessories and a storage case. The on-board bit storage on the face and underneath the tool is ideal for organizing accessories and keeping them available during use. One of the best features is the handheld pen shaft, It is lightweight, easy to operate and features a spindle lock allowing for quick and easy accessory bit changes.

Challenge Faced / Innovative Design 

Rotary tools have traditionally held the motor in the handle of the tool creating an uncomfortable and unstable working environment. HART has reimagined the traditional rotary tool layout and improved the user experience by placing the motor in a stationary location. This allows the user the have a smaller more precise pen. One of the challenges was creating a compact functional power station that houses the battery, motor, 33 included accessories/storage case and on-board individual storage for over 50 accessories. The power station is wall mount capable and will safely hold all bits when stored in the vertical position.
