CASE Project Zeus 2020

Designers: Eric Jacobstahl, CNH Industrial Design Center, CNH Industrial America LLC., Burr Ridge, Illinois, USA
Manufacturer: CNH Industrial Italia Spa, Turin, Italy

The design of the CASE Electric TLB project ZEUS focuses on leveraging technology in order to provide our customers the performance and productivity they are accustomed to from our conventional machine while reaping the benefits of sustainable, clean energy.

The removal of the diesel engine yields not only cleaner air for the operator and all those around but also improves worksite communication through its virtually quiet operation.

The design is born from combining the essence of CASE brand heritage and the message of sustainability creating a clean and simple design inside and out.  The strong and clean surface gesture develop the theme of sustainability.  The lighting design on the hood, reflects the idea of an energy bolt and expression for electricity, forming a unique signature lighting.  The exterior is rounded with advanced lighting on the roof and rugged but clean lines on the fenders.

The clean flowing, metallic PowerTan lines of the hood flow into the front console where the theme continues bringing the exterior body color inside where it is met by a minimalistic, easy to understand user experience.
Switches and controls are centered around an intuitive color display on the right hand console.

The blue backlighting surrounding the CASE Eagle hood ornament and charge port symbolize the transition of CASE Construction Equipment and its historical backhoe leading a future where sustainability is important to all.
