We created the logo design for the Japanese music group "LNoL", an artwork for distributing their album, and an analog record jacket. (Released on January 29, 2019) "LNoL" is a group consisting of Yaeko Takemura, the classic pianist, Shinichi Osawa, the sound producer, (MONDO GROSSO), and VERBAL, the director (m-flo / PKCZ® / HONEST BOYZ®).
To express the individuality of the three parties, the logo design is in the form of a fusion of three typefaces. When 10 slits (= staff notation× double) is over this logo and are moved, letters of LNoL wit 3 types of fonts will appear in order. It's a logo which is developed from the method of slitanimation.
The surface of the jacket (outer) is slit-typed. The inner bag is designed according to the slit, and it's a mechanism that looks moving by the mechanism of slitanimation when you take out the inner bag from the jacket.
