On a former garden site, a single-family house was constructed for a family of four, with particular emphasis on the orientation of the living spaces to create a harmonious living experience. The living area of the house opens towards the private and tranquil garden, establishing a close connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
The double garage serves not only as a parking space but also as a visual and noise barrier from the street, providing significant privacy for the garden and living space. The black wooden facade of the house serves as a harmonious backdrop for the vibrant and colorful plant life that surrounds the house. This wooden facade extends not only along the side walls but boldly stretches across the entire roof surface, giving the house a distinctive silhouette and seamlessly blending it with the green surroundings.
A spacious terrace landscape surrounds the house, offering covered and open areas for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation. The wooden terrace acts as a natural extension of the living space, imparting a warm and inviting character to the ambiance. The overall building form is simple yet highly detailed, with technical elements such as rain gutters, downspouts, and ventilation elements cleverly integrated into the wooden facade to maintain the aesthetic integrity.
In the children's bathroom, an elegant, frameless skylight in the shower creates a light-filled atmosphere while preserving absolute privacy, preventing views from the outside. The focus is also on state-of-the-art technology and sustainability. Thanks to a heat pump with a ground source and a concrete core-activated floor slab, the house can be efficiently heated and cooled.
A central ventilation system with heat recovery ensures optimal air quality without compromising the previously achieved room temperature. The roof of the house is equipped with seamlessly integrated photovoltaic cells, harmoniously contributing to the sustainable energy supply of the house. Sun blinds ensure that the interior does not overheat in summer while maintaining a connection to the outside. The entire home technology is controlled and optimized by an intelligent smart home system, further enhancing comfort and energy efficiency.
