In 2023, Hilton continued advancing their Travel with Purpose strategy and 2030 Goals, but also saw an opportunity to raise the bar based on rigorous analysis and the latest information available. Hilton introduced new, more ambitious environmental and social goals which are laser-focused on paving the way to a net-zero future and creating an engine of opportunity in the communities where Hilton lives, works and travels.

The Report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and integrates the recommendations of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Hilton is tracking progress against the company’s 2030 Goals which align with the UN SDGs. Their 2030 targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Hilton reports publicly through multiple venues, including but not limited to CDP, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Hilton’s public financial disclosures and Hilton’s Travel with Purpose website.
