Utilizing the abandoned initial stage as a visible rain trails, and using terraces and gravel stagnation. Improving sinking gardens water storage ability through combining the ecological links such as surplus, excess platooning, and other ecological links as a whole. Through the science research, this design will control 85% of storm-water management rate, which is totally amount of 47.41 cubic meters of runoff remaining through the landscape approach. During the project construction, we claim low input and low maintenance. Among of materials are recyclable or self-updating, such as prefabricated PC bricks, recycled steel plate, and steel grille etc. This was the first time in Xiong'an New District to build a core ecological project that can be emphasis the idea of sponge city.
