The future Liaocheng High-speed railway New District will rely on the high-speed railway hub to link the Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Kowloon, and Beijing-Shanghai routes.

It is expected to gather high-quality scientific and technological innovation and manufacturing services, urban leisure services, business, and logistics services to create a regional meeting point and comprehensive service center.

The overall planning scheme forms a two-axis, two-center, and multi-group spatial structure, which also shapes a three waterways city picture and multiple city-industry integration groups.
