Manufacturer: Deutsche Telekom AG., Bonn, Germany

Task

Digitalization is changing processes across the industries – all value chain participants are getting connected.

Our aim is to develop scalable platforms and integrate global partners. We want to demonstrate this scenario to our colleagues and top business customers today.

Idea

We present our vision of a connected industry platform in the form of a prototype in the Telekom Design Gallery in Bonn/Germany. In doing so, we connect private consumers, retailers and digitalized industrial processes.

Industry 4.0 and Cyber Physical Systems are brought to life.

Solution

We present raw materials that know what job they will do. Machines that know when they require maintenance. Trucks communicate their position, load compartment temperature and tire pressure to calculate the ideal time of arrival. All these factory elements can be viewed in a dashboard in real-time – from the tank status to an overview of the entire cross-plant production network. One highlight is the collaborative robot that interacts directly with people – the future of human-machine interaction.
