Designers: O/M and Eduardo Souto de Moura, Souto Moura Arquitectos, S.A., Porto, Portugal
Manufacturer: O/M Osvaldo Matos SA., Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal

Designed with the renowned architect Eduardo Souto de Moura for Tua dam in Portugal, Tua is an exterior luminaire created to withstand the test of time. Tua is a pathway able to project uniform light over a long distance creating no glare nor interference with other light sources, despite its wide area of illumination.

Tua uses an optical system made with an asymmetric, high-purity aluminum reflector with 97% reflection, low luminance level and low UGR level. Tua, with a light source almost imperceptible, offers different options of illuminance and areas of illumination, according to the height of the luminiare. Tua’s optical module guarantees 10lx in an area of 5x6m using the 800mm high version, 20lx in an area of 4x5m using the 600mm high version and 30lx in an area of 3x4m using the 300mm high version.

Using high-efficiency O/M LED modules up to 110lm/W, Tua provides outstanding comfort and colour rendition and consistency, with a CRI of over 90.

This aluminium floorwasher has anti-corrosion treatment and textured-paint finish suitable for adverse climate conditions and is available in two versions: Tua and Tua Optic. Tua version can be used in three different heights: 300, 600 or 800mm and Tua Optic in two different sizes: 220 or 370mm.
