SAN JOSE, CA (May 14th, 2017) - Aquapaw, LLC, a startup focused on improving how we bathe our pets, has launched their first product, the Aquapaw Pet Bathing Tool. It is the world's first wearable combination sprayer and scrubber that can be turned on and off by simply making a fist. It’s one-size-fits-all design allows you to better control your pet as well as the flow of water while you clean your best friend. Aquapaw is currently finalizing their
production and is scheduled to deliver their first products in August 2017.
The Aquapaw has a button in its center that, when pressed, will toggle the flow of water on and off. Water sprays from the tips of rubber nubs in the center of the palm and is injected deep to the pet’s coat, speeding up the rinsing process and eliminating much off the spraying water that can intimidate most dogs. The overall design is slim, flexible, and unobtrusive enough that it is extremely easy to keep control of your pet with both hands. It quick-connects to either a garden hose or shower using the custom adapters included with every product.
Aquapaw, LLC was founded by Daniel Lentz, a professional Industrial Designer who grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, bathing his family’s dogs. He always thought there was a better way to keep their pets clean and for the past two years has been building and testing prototypes with his friends, family, and local pet owners to finalize the design. In order to afford the initial investment for tooling this product, Daniel built a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in December 2016 and is about offer this product to the public.
