While we often market the idea of reducing carbon output by using our frames, we wanted a way for our customers to know just how much. Based on the Bilan Carbon Method, beMatrix has developed a Carbon Footprint Calculator that determines an approximate output of carbon in both CO2e/ft2 and kgCO2e that is created as a result of the tradeshow booth design.

This calculator takes into account most materials that are involved with building a booth or exhibit to create an extensive, robust, and accurate calculation.

Each calculation is given a rating of "Low", "Medium", or "High", in terms of carbon output, for 3 separate categories. These categories are "Structure", "Carrier", and "Finish." The design is also given a "General Emission Score."

The new myKWS Dashboard – a customizable Smart Farming Cockpit – is re-born in a user centric quality. It offers a strategic and an operational overview like real-time-monitoring of cultivated acreages & yields to the farmers around the globe to navigate these complexities with precision and confidence. By providing maximum app-multifunctionality to the user’s fingertips, myKWS takes smart farming to the next level.

As a one-step service, it shows the latest market data, an overview of seasonal topics, precise weather forecasts, calibrated yield-monitoring and farm-specific data through more than 20 widgets and apps for optimizing harvest. Get to know this precise digital farming system: the myKWS Farmer’s Cockpit serves farmers the best realtime tools available to have at least 8-10% more yield to feed the world. IDEA The myKWS Dashboard is available in 42+ countries and offers contextually real-time recommendations, actions and tools in a user-friendly way.

The focus is on geo-based and seed-specific agricultural "Smart & Precision Farming Features". Important criteria are on sustainably increasing yields along the entire "value chain" from sowing to (direct) marketing of crop yields in retail and improving well-founded decision support along the cultivation seasons. AI-based data models as well as geo- and sensor-based real-time data are used, harmonized in order enable precise, regionally relevant monitoring information of the cultivated areas.

The myKWS Dashboard approach offers a comprehensive, evaluated and multimodal implementation of a smart farming user interface. To achieve this goal, ideation, user journeys with more than 120 people in marketing, personas and 3 waves of systemic rapid prototype development were systematically applied in a standardized co-creation process with experts and international users. The result was a uniform but regionally adaptable module and portfolio strategy for meaningful new business models and holistic customer interaction along the entire value chain from sowing to marketing the harvested yields from the cultivation areas.

The information architecture of the modular myKWS Smart Farming Cockpit is based on clear and effective logics that optimize users' agricultural processes. - Specific presentation of content depending on the device, so that usability from any location is guaranteed, creates contextual and multimodal flexibility of use. - Targeted use of resources and development efforts to prioritize the most important functions for smart farming customers. - Guidance and instruction kits provided to help farmers easily configure appropriate and non-overloaded precision farming interactions on the myKWS Dashboard.

The project approach provides insights into the design stages and the evaluation of the international needs of farmers in digital agriculture. The focus of the contextual implementation was to improve economic efficiency and international sustainability objectives in precision farming. The digital tools and the customer-specific orchestration of the myKWS Dashboard for the company's own regional seed and cultivation contexts were of central importance. Optimized coordination and systemic integration of all stakeholders between marketing, sales and the business units was essential, as was the connection between physical and digital channels.

Agriculture is the primary source of the world's food supply. It provides the fruits, vegetables, grains, meat, dairy, and legumes that feed billions of people. With the growing global population, sustainable agriculture is essential to manage and conserve resources while meeting the increasing food demand. In essence, agriculture is not just about cultivating land and raising livestock. It's about sustaining life, promoting economic growth, and maintaining the ecological balance of our planet. With the new myKWS Dashboard, farmers can finally concentrate on what matters: harvesting food for the world's population in a triple sustainable way.
