Designers: Marco Goffi and Tommaso Arrigoni, Marco Goffi design, Milan (MI), Italy
Manufacturer: Turri Giosuè & Mosè srl., Milan (MI), Italy

Galante is a reversible dish-for-food to taste from appetizer until the dessert - passing through the first and the second course of the menu - always using the same plate, in different times or simultaneously, becoming an alternative to the historical “trilogy” of plane-bowl-dessert and suggesting “another manner” to enjoy the food.

Sum of research, design and culinary art, it is a tool to expand the common sense of tableware environment. One object instead of three, following a total economic sustainability: at the same service level, Galante allows a low financial impact of the manufacturing process, good opportunity for design sellers and efficient use for diners, permitting also to save storage space around 35%.

Extremely functional, it is an object with essential design also appearing as a disruptive item. Galante is the result of designer’s brainchild with the technical supervision of Michelin starred chef. A project came to life as integrated design not a “simply” new form, Galante is much more than a kitchen accessory, more than a food “container”, it is a sort of fluid canvas where colors and flavors become “accomplices” of an ideal painting, keeping safe the dainty balance between design shape and food content, at last proposing a user behavior.

Thanks to the possibility to be manufactured using traditional technology or techno-polymer with injection technology, Galante has many “applications” available, from the haute cuisine to the ambit of Ho.Re.Ca., until the table at your home.
