Intermix – a collection inspired by the layering of architectural design elements, woven from an array of yarns to achieve a variety of surface textures with a handwoven appeal. Featuring five patterns, including two sustainable, the collection offers a full range of colors from vibrant brights to classic
neutrals. Intermix provides a colorful and medium-scaled design, while maintaining the durability of contract-grade specifications.
Available in five patterns and 48 colorways. While each is unique stylistically, the collection incorporates a wide range in scope from vibrant stripes to complementary solids, making the collection suitable for a variety of applications. Intermix patterns meet all ACT requirements for contract upholstery – achieving over 50,000 to 100,000+ double rubs on abrasion tests – Wyzenbeek or Martindale – qualifying them for high traffic areas.
Unique weave construction and complex looming techniques use a variety of filaments including: natural fibers, recycled polyesters and man-made synthetics in combination with novelty yarns to create the multi-dimensional textures and patterns.
Suitable for multiple end uses, the patterns in the Intermix Collection – Shift, Weave, Striae, Montage and Scatter – are applicable for a variety of environment including hospitality, educational, institutional, residential, corporate and government.
Patterns
Shift - Inspired by a mosaic wall in London, Shift provides a mid-scale geometric pattern with textural interest. Within the design, different weave structures of luster and matte yarns are combined to represent each tile, bringing the mosaic to life.
Weave - An interlocking wool basket weave is the result from two thicknesses and two colors of wool yarn combined with depth and texture to create the look of a handwoven fabric. From the source to the product, weave is a 100% American product with 97% sustainable, rapidly renewable materials.
Striae - Striated gradients of color from four separate yarns create the organic brush-stroke effect of pattern Striae.
Montage - Influenced by the visual of a broken and taped window, Montage was created by layering and weaving together portions of a geometric design. The color placement of the yarn helps to reinforce the subtle texture of this unique medium-scale pattern.
Scatter - A non-directional tonal quality is created by weaving two different colors of boucle yarn against a solid background.
