This project offers the renovation and the construction of an add-on space of an old military building named BT06. This transformation is more in line with the one of Terres Neuves district in Bègles.

The first and second floors have been renovated and converted into office spaces. The add-on space on the third floor is home to two architectural firms. Each level is independent of each other, with their own private entrance, thanks to the construction of a "totem," which accommodates the vertical flow as well as the technique necessary for the daily operation of the building.

The add-on space is a steel structure composed of porticoes. They are arranged in adequacy with the structure of the existing frame, which makes the front facade look like a regular frame. Gabled terraces, a suspended mezzanine, and double heights compose and animate the workspaces.

An all-height library runs along the south facade to minimize direct solar gain while the space opens largely to the north by a fully glazed facade, bringing a significant and constant natural light.
