This project is part of the new development project of Place du 14 juillet in Bègles. Two buildings stand around a new square, which overlooks the central garden that structures the interior of the project. Built volumetrics are generously fragmented, echoing the existing neighborhood. The single-slope roofs are a contemporary reinterpretation of the shapes of houses and pavilions in the area.
Further on, the project lines along an alley lined with a series of houses in a band. They set up sometimes in the alignment of the passage, sometimes in withdrawal, creating a rhythm that sequences the pedestrian walkway. The alley ends with a small group that generates articulation with the street.
Focusing on a small scale of housing, the project proposes 32 dwellings, of very varied typologies and configuration, adapted to the different current family patterns. All benefit from an outdoor area and several orientations.
