This state-of-the-art manufacturing assembly facility and Office Headquarters is sited on a flat, rural plain south of Fort Worth, Texas.

Dyna has a long-standing presence in the community, and its parent company has long seated roots in Europe. The European facility is high modern architecture, and the Blum facility seeks to recall that sensibility while also referring to the high-precision nature of Dyna's products.

Housing a 250-person staff, the facility is designed with employee amenities being a priority making the work-life a more desirable place. Large community spaces provide a variety of ways to work and act as break out spaces from the office, training, and assembly programs.

Spaces are designed to be equalitarian with shared spaces for employees and management with the goal of increasing interaction, collaboration, and communication. In addition to offering equal services to all the employees during the workweek, it is hoped that the facility will serve the Dyna community as a place for out of work hours gatherings for employees and family.

The design, with its use of reflective glazing and random polished stainless-steel panels, breaks down the large scale of the facility with the illusion that the building is pierced with reflections of the surrounding grasslands and Texas sky.

Vertical and horizontal exterior aluminum sunshades to control excess solar heat gain, full reflective glazing response for Climate Zone 2, reflective roofing to reduce heat island effect. Extensive daylighting for all offices and industrial workspace. Energy-saving LED lighting throughout. The outdoor lounge features a compluvium roof, which, in addition to protecting gatherers from the Texas sun, collects stormwater runoff and specifically directs it to the wetter parts of the xeric-oriented landscape.

Insulated metal panels in natural finish zalmag and polished stainless steel, exposed steel entry canopies with contrasting standing seam metal roofs were used for the exterior and, exposed structures, polished concrete, and tile floors and walls, custom carper tile at offices with up-lit acoustic cloud ceiling at work areas, private offices with sliding glass doors, with Knoll furniture systems throughout for the interior.
